At your first visit, your physical therapist will conduct a thorough evaluation, go over your personalized care plan, and set treatment goals with you. Your therapy may include exercises, hands-on manual techniques to relieve pain and improve mobility, and various modalities like electrical stimulation, heat, or ice. You'll also receive education about your condition and a home exercise program to support your progress. During this appointment, your therapist will determine how often and how long you'll need treatment.
YourseOn your first visit, you’ll need to bring your physician referral or prescription (if applicable), your insurance card, registration forms, ID, and co-payment (if applicable). You may also bring a change of clothes.
